Most questions are answered below. If yours is not, email us — a person reads every message.
Open the paywall and tap Restore at the top left. A subscription belongs to your Apple ID, so it needs attaching to your account once — after that it follows your account on any device.
A subscription can only be used by one account. If you subscribed on a different account — an older one, or one made by accident — email us from the address on the account you want to keep and we will move it across.
On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Spark Summaries → Cancel. Apple handles billing, so cancelling has to happen there rather than in the app. You keep access until the period you have paid for ends.
It should not — playback continues in the background with lock screen controls. If it is stopping, check that Spark Summaries has not been restricted in Settings → General → Background App Refresh, and that Low Power Mode is off. If it still happens, email us and say which iPhone and iOS version you are on.
Reading to the end of the last spark, or letting the last spark of the audio play out, moves a book to Finished on its own. If you skipped to the end rather than finishing it, use Mark as Finished at the bottom of the book.
One book unlocks in full — text and audio, every spark — for everyone, with or without an account. It changes at midnight, so it is a different title each day.
Tap Forgot Password? on the sign-in screen and we will email you a reset link. If it does not arrive, check spam, then email us and we will sort it manually.
Email us from the address on your account and we will delete it, along with your reading progress and streak. Note that deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — do that in Settings first, or you will keep being billed.
